Beth Kille’s Music

Beth performs throughout the midwest in multiple ensembles. Old-school fans may remember her from the days with her rock band Clear Blue Betty (2002-2008). Now, you can find her as a soloist (just her and her guitar), as duo (with award-winning guitarist Michael Tully) and with the full Beth Kille Band (including Michael Mood on bass and Tony Kille on drums). She is a founding member of the acoustic-pop/Americana trio, Gin, Chocolate & Bottle Rockets (with Shawndell Marks and Jen Farley) who have won numerous awards for their tight three-part harmonies and also offer a special show called “Legends in Harmony: A Tribute The Trio (Dolly Parton, Emmylou Harris and Linda Ronstadt).” Lastly she has a duo project with her songwriter friend Erik Kjelland (of The Mascot Theory) called Kerosene Kites. Kerosene Kites has released two holiday-themed albums (and two non-holiday records) so they tend to hit the road hard in December, but can also perform when it’s not cold and snowing.

………………………

No matter who she stands beside on stage, Beth is a passionate and engaging performer who enjoys everything from intimate listening rooms, private and corporate events and large festival stages.

Kerosene Kites!

Kerosene Kites (Beth Kille & Erik Kjelland) will perform a holiday-themed concert in the beautiful setting of Ovation 309 Sky Bar right off the Capitol Square in Madison. Ovation 309 is a condo complex downtown (309 W Johnson Street) with a top-floor lounge, normally just for Ovation 309 residents, but it will open for the public for this special holiday concert fundraiser for Girls Rock Camp Madison, sponsored by Music Makes a Difference! This lovely lounge features and amazing view of the Capitol Building.

There is $15 suggested donation at the door for non-Ovation residents which includes the concert as well as hors d'oeuvres, soda, beer and wine. Specialty drinks (old fashioneds/Manhattans) will be prepared by the Music Makes a Difference folks for a free-will offering.
